On September 28, 2023, Better Business Bureau investigated Dafiece Dachshund's business practices. This investigation was prompted by customer complaint reports alleging that Dafiece Dachshund is operating as an online dog breeder and advertising on social media outlet Facebook. Consumers are purchasing what is believed to be a registered dachshund puppy. Dafiece Dachshund requires the payment be made thru Zelle. Once the money is transferred, the shipping is referred to a “trusted” pet transportation company Happy Tail Transportation. Happy Tail Transportation then contacts stating the shipment will require a special crate 98% of the cost refundable upon delivery. The puppy never arrives and communication with Dafiece Dachshund and Happy Tail Transportation discontinues.
BBB was able to verify that Dafiece Dachshund is not licensed by the Montana Secretary of State. The address supplied by the consumers 4095 Buoy Blvd. Helena, MT is an empty field.
