    Totally worthless , friendly taking the claim but different story when the damage estimate comes , they want to take your money but decline to repair the problem , well known actors and actresses beware its going to give you a bad name by backing this company , actually everyone giving thought to this company BEWARE , even my mechanic stopped using them

    Car shield is a total rip off! Had work done on my vehicle and there was a problem with the turbo which they would not cover because a part wasn’t lubricated *** you can’t even buy the part without the whole turbo! And when I asked to get a copy of the shop notes they will not release because they said it’s proprietary?? Really it’s my ******* vehicle, definitely not on the up and up they’re trying to hide something if they don’t even give copies of notes that has to do with your vehicle. Canceled covered would NEVER recommend this company !

    Horrible company. Bought a vehicle and took one of their policies to protect my investment. Engine failed and started to find a garage that would accept what I now know is useless policy. Several garages called no garage in my area would accept their policy. Some garages I called told me it would cost me ****** + to deal with them as they're very unresponsive. Had car towed to one garage when they found out I had car shield they declined to work on my vehicle. Had called a few other places and found a garage willing to accept their sorry contract and had paid for another tow to their facility. Mechanics checked my car said another motor was needed. According to them they stated that the vehicle had been driven and damaged the motor more. So I guess I should have left car in middle of road. Horrible company regret falling for their dishonesty and insulting demeanor anyone looking for a aftermarket warranty this company is not it they're a total rip off no garage will accept them as they have said they low ball them on price they pay as well as try to put all blame back on the consumer when parts fail that they claim to cover then refuse or insult their customers and create larger bills for consumers to tear down motors to prove they're broke. And refuse to fix the cars.

    Initial contact was good, they told me up front what the coverage would be. They only offered their lowest coverage due to the car (2014 E63), which does not cover the engine and transmission. At $249 per month I declined the warranty. The agent did get this down to $209, but I still declined due to lack of coverage. I then received an email stating they would reduce the cost to $89 per month, this is where the harassing phone calls started. First two calls I told them again that I was no interest due to the coverage. After call 5 I told them we had multiple conversations with no change in coverage. For two weeks now I have received two calls per day. I have them block, but my phone shows the calls. I have send multiple emails to CarShield asking them to stop calling. After reading other reviews for this company, I'm glad I chose to decline any contract with them. Avoid this company.

    I bought a car in March of 2021. Signed up for carshield, the same day because the car had low mileage, six months into buying the car; I had done 2 oil changes and all maintenance required by the date and mileage per manufacturer. In August I heard a small knocking sound. I spent 3 weeks calling every dealer in a 100 miles I only found 1 in the area. The place I took it too, tore the cars motor down to where the issue was and one of the cams was cracked. Car shield too 3 months to get someone out to look at it. Then refused to fix. THEY ARE A RIPOFF AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO LIE.

    Absolutely terrible.. Car Shield commercials are false and misleading. They say "take your car to the mechanic of your choice " LIES... Tires Plus and ********* are the 2 places I deal with, NEITHER ACCEPT CAR SHIELD. I've been paying Car Shield monthly since June 14 2022 and have not had a claim. I recently had an issue with my car and since my 2 go to car service places didn't accept Car Shield, I had to spend hours looking up what places near me took it. I finally found one place but had to leave my car for between 2 and 3 days. That was definitely NOT an option since we are a 1 car family and I work 5 days a week. I had to use one of my mechanics and it cost me $1,751.48. I'm completely outraged and now have a huge monthly bill with a credit card. I want my money back from Car Shield and want to be compensated for the loss of $1,751.48 and the stress and aggravation I have been dealing with.

    CarShield is not worth the money. We are on our 2nd attempt to get my a/c fixed. They sent damaged refurbished parts NON-OEM, even though during my conversation with customer service he insisted that it would be a new OEM part and after our $100 that was all we would pay. But low and behold when we went to drop our vehicle off the repair facility said that CarSheild would not cover the full cost of labor so we had to pay an additional @ $400.00. When I called to escalate my claim I was told that I couldn't listen to my recorded phone call to confirm what I was told. So now I am having to miss work and pay more out of pocket and make a 3rd trip to repair facility. When all they had to do was pay for the repair and parts as told. Stay far away from CarShield!!!!!!
