Misuse of BBB Name and/or Logo
In February 2022, Better Business Bureau (BBB) questioned C & D Guttering Inc. for displaying BBB's seal on its website, www.canddguttering.com, when it is not a BBB Accredited Business. Consequently, BBB requested that C & D Guttering Inc. cease and desist.
The company did not respond to BBB's request and has not removed BBB's seal from its website and is in violation of the trademark rights of the International Association of Better Business Bureaus, Inc.

In February 2022, Better Business Bureau questioned C & D Guttering Inc.'s website, www.canddguttering.com, which stated, “100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE”.
According to BBB Code of Advertising, “(1) Advertisers should only use ‘satisfaction guarantee,’ ‘money back guarantee,’ ‘free trial offer,’ or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer’s request. (2) When ‘satisfaction guarantee’ or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.”
BBB requested the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue the claim made on it's website. The company did not respond to BBB’s request.
