  BBB has received reports from a consumer which appears to indicate this entity is purporting to offer mystery shopping employment. The consumer informed BBB they received a check from the company and instructions to cash the checks, spend the money at different locations - purportedly as a mystery shopper - and then wire back a portion of the funds to the company. This request to have consumers wire back funds is an indication the 'job offer' is fraudulent. Consumers are advised to either shred the checks they receive or report them to the U.S. Postal Inspector at www.uspis.gov.
  
  Consumers interested in legitimate mystery shopping job opportunities should keep the following in mind:
  
  * Be suspicious of jobs that require wiring money. As a general rule, never wire money to someone you don't know.
  * Research a company on bbb.org before accepting any position with them.
  * Visit the Mystery Shopping Providers Association website at mysteryshop.org/ for a list of reputable mystery shopping companies.
  * Even if checks you receive look real, this is not how legitimate mystery shopping companies operate. Anyone who deposits these checks discover they eventually bounce, leaving consumers out the money they wired back to the scammers and any money they spent on their 'shopping assignment.'
  *At best, mystery shopping provides supplemental income.
