    Zero stars. Their method for managing accounts is extremely bad. It is complicated and frustrating to use. Anything other than the most basic task requires a support ticket.Account migration does not exist in any form. I switched subscription tiers to save some money and it was a huge hassle. First, backup information is locked to your current tier for all eternity. I had to re-backup everything. With slow, rural internet upload speeds this wasted about a week of my life. And during that week I was without a full copy of my data, even though it already exists on a CrashPlan server! Second, I had to go through a process of removing my email from the old account so that I could use it in the new, lower cost account. It isn't enough to cancel the old account - the email *has* to be removed first or that email is forever locked to a defunct account. This required entering a second, validated email address in the old one to remove my normal email. This in turn meant creating an all new email account ******* just to leave it attached to an unusable CrashPlan account. This whole process is needlessly complicated.Automatic billing is also needlessly complicated, leading to an accidental cancellation of my account. On the renew date, there was a problem with my bank and payment information, and within ***2 HOURS*** my entire account was cancelled. There were no notices that billing had failed asking me to update payment information. There was only an email telling me that my account is cancelled. It is impossible for me to fix a problem that I don't know about! And this is an unacceptable amount of time to fix a banking problem! And with a cancelled account, I can't even login to look at what my billing information was. Their ****** clunky and inefficient account management has resulted in my cancelled account. This is completely unacceptable, and this is doubly unacceptable for a company that sells backup and recovery service.
