On May 12, 2022, the business entered into a Stipulation Agreement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). The Agreement settles allegations that the business "failed to properly calculate air pollutants, exceeded air pollutant emissions, submitted late semiannual and annual reports, and failed to keep various required records. The violations are associated with the company’s three portable hot mix asphalt plants and nonmetallic mineral processing equipment." Under terms of the Agreement, the business agreed to pay a $22,750.00 civil penalty, develop and submit plans to calculate monthly and annual pollutant emissions and submit the reports on time; perform regular emission stack tests; record daily fuel usage and notify MPCA when changing the location of portable equipment. The Agreement was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
