- Additional Info:Johnston's Express Transport was started in April 2022. We were working for another company and seen the many opportunities that were available to us if we could have our own authority. We discussed the processes with them and they were happy to help us get started on our own journey in this business. So with that being said, one day on the way back from a Maryland run, we came up with our company name. We were a little anxious about jumping right into it so we purchased another truck along with a utility trailer to be more versatile in the business. Once we thought we had all that we would need to start, the paperwork was filed and what we had dreamed about became reality to us. We still continue to do work for the company we started our journey with and have gained a few new customers as well. Our company goal is to make sure that whatever we haul makes it safely to its destination without any delays or damages. So far we have been 100% accident free & always on time as needed. We haul anything from bumper pull, 5th wheel, and gooseneck trailers. In addition to that we can load up to 10,000 lbs on our 25ft equipment trailer that we added a winch to so we could pull up non running equipment and or cars and trucks. We've been very fortunate to have this trailer as its benefited us during the down times of the RV industry. We currently run this trailer 2/3 days weekly for local and longer distance loads. It's nice having the versatility that this trailer offers us and our customers.
