On June 10th, 2021, BBB Serving West Florida requested that the company substantiate, modify, or discontinue its solicitations sent to businesses.
BBB has identified a pattern of consumer complaint activity filed against Sunbiz Document Center LLC, regarding solicitations sent to businesses in the mail. A series of complaints allege the solicitations are designed to look like government notices, requiring payments to be sent to Sunbiz Document Center LLC in order to obtain current federal labor law posters. Consumer complaints allege the mailings are deceptive as there is no disclaimer stating that Sunbiz Document Center LLC is a business, not a government entity or affiliated with the government.
