      This review will be followed up with a phone call. This company is a scam. During an exciting & anxiety inducing time this company has scammed us. We thought we were paying top dollar for a great company to move our things across the country! We got what seemed like a BIG discount & paid heavily for the mistake of hiring these brokers! They lied on the phone during the estimate about cubic footage, they lied about the process of pick up and delivery. We wouldnt have booked with them had we known! $6k for the crappiest ************* to pick up & deliver our things. Delivery was 7 days after agreed upon delivery date. **************** staff was rude when we called for updates. We were reimbursed $200 for our undue hardship after arriving in a different state having to wait a week for our things! These scammers hire the nastiest moving companies who overcharged us at pick up for cubic footage. They said things had to be stored a certain way in the moving truck. Upon delivery our things were piled on top of two different familys belongings. Our tool box was smashed to pieces. Our quad was on its back. Dirt bikes were crushed next to each other! Our new queen *** was literally bent in half, its ruined! My bird cage was bent, missing *************** were busted off. A cracked tv! My expensive metal kennels had so much stacked on top of them the tops were bent in. Our $8k couches had been unwrapped & pieces were smashed in. Countless picture frames were busted. Two totes were cracked! To top it all off the crappy delivery truck bottomed out in our ************* spent all morning hauling our things up to our front door with a truck&trailer. Nothing was put together for us¬ one box was moved into our house by the moving company! I have photos & am so very disappointed in this company. All of the nightmarish reviews we read about moving companies came true for us. I am so upset & cant believe this. Please get a bbb accredited company to move your things. RIDICULOUS!

      Quality Moving Experts (QME) reached out to me during a moving crisis. They said they had a truck moving a military family to our city and that we fit their route. They DO NOT have trucks. They're brokers who take a fee and subcontract to any moving company they desire. They gave us a highly "discounted" estimate then sold us to a scam of a moving company in TX. The owner of moving company tried to extort us and tell us our stuff had been stolen and a mover held up the others at gunpoint, then contradicted himself stating our stuff was safe in a warehouse. Then the owner died. QME said they tried to get another moving co to get our stuff but nothing ever happened. They tried to give us a refund of $300, then ~$700 but terms stated we'd surrender legal rights against them for past/present/future business. They offered $1k but never sent agreement. It's been >4 months and still don't have our stuff the movers they subcontracted to have. QME has also not returned any of my emails since 8/4/23. Beware of moving brokers. These people can obtain an LLC for little $. They bait & hook you during a stressful & emotional time of moving. They give you big discounts and that won't even be completely covered by whichever horrible moving company they subcontract to. Once they've subcontracted, they owe you no loyalty or help. They play into your emotion and act like they're there to help you. Trust me, do your research and then do some more digging before getting into business with people like this. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. We were stressed and saw a couple decent reviews and took the bait. Now were out the $ we gave them, the movers, the cost of our lost belongings, the cost to replace them & the emotional stress & absolute violation from both parties it's caused over the last 4+ months. I could give so much more info and saved messages, phone records, and contradiction that prove how untrustworthy they are but I don't have enough room. ***BUYER BEWARE***

      I called to obtain an estimate and put down a deposit for a cross country moved from San Antonio Texas to Seabrook Maryland. I was told my total cost would be 18 42,99 and that I need to have a money order to cover at least 50% of the move at the time of pick up. At the time that amount was $614.33. Naturally I went and got a money order and made sure that I have the money order in hand on the pick up date.

      After the movers had all of my items on the truck and I was in an empty apartment with the movers, the movers change my moving costs from my quoted price of $1842.99 to $3400.

      When I asked for an explanation, I was told that they assumed my furniture was smaller than it was, and because the furniture takes up a little bit more space in the truck than they thought. This was now my new cost. They explained that this type of thing can happen all the time, While getting a quote, they have random generalize sizes that they expect furniture to be in charge based off of that. They also told me that because my money order was I originally purchased to cover the 50% of the new total that they would not be enough for them to proceed with delivering my items, and that I would have to leave my items in Texas in a storage unit with them that I would not have access to until they received the full 50% of the new total which would be $1558 more than quoted.

      This is a very clear bate and switch Scam! My entire life is being held hostage on the truck. I have been calling and trying to get a resolve and being promised that I will be called back with no returned calls. I scheduled movers to relieve stress during this move. It is very unfortunate that my experience has been the exact opposite. Quality moving experts have done nothing short of add stress to my move as I do not have any of my belongings that I’ve worked hard to obtain. This is been a very emotionally draining experience. Please stay clear of them.

      After reviewing your file it appears that Maggie, our customer service manager tried contacting you multiple times with no avail. She then sent you an email explaining the increases that you experienced.  Unfortunately the list provided was not the same list provided initially upon booking. Once the carrier got on site he provided a revised estimate which included 34 items. Your initial estimate with Quality Moving Experts only included 24 pieces. Anytime you add inventory it causes your price to increase. Some of the additional items added at pick up included; large rug, small rug, your sofa was listed as a 2 seater loveseat however it is a 3 piece sofa, 2 TVs, footboard, headboard, a picture, shoe rack, ladder, bookshelf and a trash can. These are only some of the variations I found from the initial estimate provided to Quality Moving Experts and what the movers actually picked up. This is what accounted for the additional 166 cubic feet @ $5.50 increasing your price by $913.00 with a 12% fuel surcharge added. You also received additional packing supplies which included 3 things of shrink wrap totaling $90.00 and 1 medium crate which was $75 for supplies and labor with tax included that was an additional $178.70 on top of the $913.00 increase.

      We provide you a BINDING estimate which is based upon the specific items to be moved and services ordered as listed on the estimate. Your estimated price will not change unless you order additional services, add additional items to be moved, or additional weight or cubic feet to be moved which are not listed on the estimate.

      We offered you compensation for the overages, and overall experience, however we never heard from you. We would still be willing to rectify this situation. Please give our customer service department a call at  (305) 697-4256. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

      Awful client support, zero commitment to the client, almost non-existent communication.
      Even though we were supposed to have a dedicated crew, the company wanted to reschedule twice, so not only they would not make it in the date we agreed, they would not make it in the backup date either. They arranged the crew who did our pick up, who arrived four hours late. After that, they asked when we wanted the delivery. We established the date. Of course, they did not deliver on that date. We had to call many times and talk to different people because they would tell us something different every time.
      At first, our quotes were for an X price. In the end, it turned into more than twice that amount. They did not give any notice in advance like they were supposed to (24 hours prior, at least, that never happened). They did not respond to emails. They did not call us back. They were always late, which caused us so many more expenses and headaches. They changed the delivery time frame three times. we had two delivery addresses - that we paid extra for). So much of our stuff arrived damaged. They delivered boxes to the wrong location.
      We asked many times for the ticket weights, but they did not provide them. Then, I had to ask more than six times for an email stating the weight info to submit to the army. It was stressful, tiring, disappointing, and expensive, and I will never again use their services. They tell you to call, and they do not answer the phone. After everything, they gave us a $100 discount. They sent us a document to sign, offering a $150 discount, BUT we could never say anything about our experience or the company. Of course, we did not sign it. After spending more than $5k with this company and having such a headache, it is ridiculous that they are trying to buy our silence like this. Please do not waste your time or money with this company. They are not professionals at all!

      First, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced during your move. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied. After reviewing your delivery paperwork it appears that you had additional cubic feet, 308 to be exact. The customer is responsible to pay for the cubic feet that are occupied on the truck. During the booking call our moving coordinator takes the inventory and then we call again three days prior to the move to go back through the inventory so that there aren't any discrepancies at the time of pick up. In the last estimate that we stated that the customer was going to utilize 741 cubic feet and they actually used 1049 cubic feet with additional 34 pieces. That is why they were charged more. We provide the customer with an estimate based on the information they provide to us. The movers discounted the customer, and we were willing to give them a courtesy refund, however, they declined. We would be more than willing to offer the reimbursement. Please contact our customer service department.

      In response to the comment: We completely understand how the estimates work. The problem is the poor or almost inexistent customer service and the omission of information all the time. For every assistance we needed, there was a delay, miscommunication, and terrible, terrible assistance. The courtesy refund they mentioned was to silence us because we could not disclose any information or complaint to get that refund that was not even a decent amount. Not even the weight tickets we asked for more than ten times since our first call they could provide always blaming someone else in their team who should have taken care of it—horrible experience. I will not use their services again or recommend them.

      From the initial call, I knew that I was with the right company the agent (Taylor *****) reached out to me to do whatever was in her power to provide a successful, stress-free transfer of property. There was never a doubt in my mind that this company was competi. The sincerity and confidence in the credibility of the company was evident from day one. I was inundated with companies emailing me in an attempt to gain my business, ,which for me was annoying and just made me more comfortable with Quality Experts My entire transport was designed personally to meet our needs. I was given as much time as I needed to ask as many questions as I needed to feel comfortable with this nearly 1,000 mile move.. this move was not just a pick up and move. There were many internal arrangements that needed to be taken care of on the part of the moving company in order for a successful end, and she(Taylor) never refused to make it work for us. WE wee ALWAYS top priority in every way.
      I will recommend this company to anyone who wants honest, stress free delivery that is definitely AFFORDABLE. Thank so much, again. Donna

      I could not be happier with this company!! Nick sent me a text almost immediately after I submitted a request, and I didn't even bother to get another quote, which I ALWAYS do! He said he had a truck in the area and could pick our stuff up the very next day. Nick was available and responsive every step of the way, he was terrific to work with! Our items were picked up the very next day and were delivered within days. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME company - competitive pricing and 5-star customer service!
