I would love to have left 0 stars but that was not an option. I closed an account with World Pay more than a year ago and they continued to charge me from my bank account every month for well over a year. I had to open a case against them, and they never followed up or contacted me to return any of the stolen monies. The customer service reps they have work from home and do not have record of all the recorded phone calls. The first time I called I was in mourning, because my parents died unexpectedly, they say they have no record of the phone call, so they have accused me of lying, (I never lie!) Then my case was abruptly closed by some girl sitting in her living room repeating herself over and over saying they do not have record of my first call. It's sad that a big company like this can just steal whatever they want to and get away with it. Extremely disappointing. I was their customer for seven plus years.

Do Not use this company as a merchant. They have so many additional fees and make it very difficult to cancel. They also have yearly fees. So not only do they make money from every single transaction they find mulitple ways to charge you. We used this company for 6 years and when we wanted to terminate we did not realize there needed to be additional documents to request closure. We asked for a simple reimbursement of fees for one month and they declined it. NO customer service liencency for small businesses. The simple call and email requesting closure was not enough. We will tell every small business to not use this company. They are horrible

AVOID WORLDPAY - They are an awful merchant service company. Lots of hidden *********** kept deducting money out of our account even after we informed them the store was closed and the owner of the account was deceased and could not send anything in writing to close the account. We submitted the death certificate late since it took so long to get it from our past employee's spouse. Additionally, when you try and get someone on the phone they switch you to different departments and then say there is nothing they can do. Plus we learned how our 3rd account was with another vendor who could only see our notes from 01/03/24, but nothing prior showing how we requested a refund sooner. After seeing all of the other complaints below, I will be checking BBB reviews before selecting vendors moving forward.

Beware! I was connected with swipe simple/ world pay through my bank so naturally I trusted them. The sales rep said she was emailing me an application to see if I get approved. It was 7 pages of numbers and charts (yes its my fault for not thoroughly reading everything) but again I was told it was an application NOT a contract. Im going over my bank statements and I see they have been taking $90a month from my account for 6 months. I was told that there would be a $9.95 fee monthly and thats what I agreed to. Apparently they are charging me $50 a month because I didnt take a survey (which I was never informed about) and $30 a month for not meeting their deposit minimum (again- not informed about). On top of that, in the initial application, the sales rep entered 3 year term. So if I want to cancel I have to pay $300 cancelation fee or continue with these insane charges monthly and $360 in yearly fees. THIS COMPANY IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AND MISLEADING. Again its my fault for not thoroughly reading the contract but do not let them fool you like they did me!!! Bad bad business.

Scam - someone name "******" called our business and wanted to make an online payment for merchandise. We don't sell online. When I questioned her to find out who she was, and why she was calling from an 800 number, she said she was our previous merchant services provider. That was a downright lie. She immediately hung up. I Googled the number and this company came up. Stay away from them.

I've been in business for 20 years and this is by far the worst merchant service experience I've had. Transferring money to my business account has been a major hassle. Initially, I was told over the phone that there would be no termination fee if I purchased their terminal, which turned out to be untrue. The termination fee was actually higher than the remaining contract cost, so I had to wait it out. To make matters worse, the contract was set to auto-renew, forcing me to endure another year. Admittedly, I should have read the contract more carefully, but I've never encountered such deceptive practices with any other merchant service. It's a classic case of sweet talk upfront, but the contract tells a different story.

Terrible company! I have been using them for years, and I recently found out that they have been charging my business $79 a month for a service that has been inactive for over 2 years. When I contacted the company they said there was nothing they could do, even though they confirmed that the account had no activity since Nov 2020. I just need my charges returned for a service that was NOT provided!!!!

They process IRS payments under the auspices of payusatax.com. THEY DO NOT TRANSMIT THE PAYMENTS TO THE **** You will owe interest and penalties. You will be out $7000 like in my case. They are designed not to be contacted as no one will every pickup the phone. The only efficient part of their operation is charging your credit card.

Too bad you can't give NEGATIVE STAR ratings.I am having a most awful experience with them. One of their rather shady dealers or processors - whatever they are called - did not close my merchant account a number of years ago. That company claims they sent me an email and I did not fill out some form. I save everything. I have nothing but I cannot prove a negative. Someone hacked into that account and ran hundreds of thousands of dollars through it and the fees were charged to my account in April of 2023. I refuse to pay the $10,000 but they say because I am not PCI-compliant (why would I be - I thought the account was closed 4 years ago!) that I have to pay the $10,000. They keep sending me **** mails and I keep calling but they say "you're not replying to our calls". Wait - what? I'm calling YOU. I have no calls from them. No emails from them. They are extremely rude. They do not care. Do not listen. The woman actually had the nerve to say 'have a great day' after she treated me terribly and I was sobbing because these criminals are about to put me out of business. I sent an email to their fraud unit at WorldPay and said 'hey - maybe you want to investigate this account and catch these criminals.' Absolutely NO RESPONSE. They just want me to pay for what these criminals did. They could care less. Nevermind that $10,000 to my small business is pretty much a killer.Want the kicker? I also WORK for the company that BOUGHT THEM!!!! I am embarrassed.
