      I booked a compact car to go to a family reunion, when I arrived at the pick up location I was told that they had overbooked their compact cars and only had Tesla's and Mini-Vans available at that time. I would have been happy to switch to one of these rentals, however, instead of providing this cars at no additional charge (since it was their error in inventory count) I was told I would have to pay an upgrade fee if I wanted to rent one of the available cars. The reasoning Hertz provided was that they were "having a truck deliver compact cars from a sister facility and it would only take 30 minutes before the truck arrived". At the time, I thought this was a satisfactory alternative. After an hour, Hertz did not have any truck arrival and could not specify when the "truck was going to arrive". At that time it was shortly after noon and I was told "we will definitely have you out of here by 5pm". I had already waiting 90 minutes to be told that I would have to wait up to an additional 4 hours for a car that had been reserved for over a week. I canceled my reservation; after speaking with a customer service rep (Chanel) I was told my refund was being processed and it would take 7-10 days to appear on my CC statement. Today is day 10 and I had to call and follow-up yet again as I had not seen refund. This time Oscar said their billing department had not approved the refund and it was still in a 'pending' status. They finally approved it but now I am to wait an additional 5-7 days for it to appear on my CC statement. This company is truly terrible and does not care about it's customer experience. I rented a vehicle in California in May and when their compact car inventory ran out, I was given a mini-van at no additional charge since it was an error on their part; the fact that NY did not do the same leads me to say that I will NEVER rent a car from Hertz again.

      HERTZ gave me the run around for 6 months after I returned my rental on an adjustment charge. I was NEVER told I need to report an issue to roadside assistance if an incident did not occur because what sense does that make?! Roadside assistance is for if you need "assistance"on the road/traveling. I reported the issue to the customer representative which was a manager on my return to Tallahassee and he put it as a credit on my account/receipt. Therefore, I assumed it would be credited back to my credit card within a few days and it was not. When that did not happen, I called the 1-800 number to figure out how to get my money back that is owed to me. The rep. on the phone said I needed to send an email about the incident and my receipt. Then told me I can get my money back because I paid in advance (I will never do that again) and because I didn't report it to roadside assistance. HERTZ must really NEED my $22.44, for them to not "be able" to refund it back. This is really BAD business! Just know I will NEVER book with HERTZ again and I will tell everyone I know to NEVER book with them either!!!

      After a long day of flying, I went to this location and my credit card -- a regular credit card that is branded and managed through Venmo -- was turned down. It made no sense, as I have used the card, including at other Hertz locations, before. The woman was adamant and unhelpful, and as I did not anticipate needing to bring another credit card with me, I had to use a debit card, which of course meant I needed a hard credit check. Later, I tried to speak to someone through their social media channels. After I was told that I could not use a "prepaid" card, I said, once again, that my card was a regular credit card. The woman running the account said she would get elevate my complaint -- and they have ignored me ever since, for nearly four weeks. I will never do business with Hertz again.

      Paid $700 for a car rental 2 months in advance for my vacation. Upon arrival, I was asked to use my credit card as a deductible, which i assume is normal. 1 month later I get a charge of $1200 listing a bunch of fees/extra stuff i never asked for... It hard to get in contact with a representative. Apparently, I signed off on this but this information was never disclosed to me. Very misleading and discreet company.

      I will be using **** rentals from now on. No more Hertz, Thirfty, Dollar Rental. Thanks for the life lesson.

      I had a reservation with this Hertz office which I made months ago. We are scheduled to drive to another state today, 18 August 2022. My reservation is from 18-22 August 2022. Yesterday, 17 August, I received a reminder about the pick up for today, 18 August 

Today, 18 August this nasty lady who said she is the manager of the Hertz location (Centennial Hills, Las Vegas, NV) (name is Anne) called me around 8:30 am to tell me that they have no cars and they can not honor my reservation. I was shocked because we were counting on this vehicle. I asked her as to why I am only getting this call today and she said she does not work at this location but she is there today. It is poor customer service. Now, I have to cancel my plans as I have no vehicle. I told this person that if they advised me at least yesterday, I would have enough time to find another car so I can proceed with my plan. 

Do not rent from this location. Customer service support ***** especially this Anne who claims she is the manager. Now, my plans are altered because of this last minute advise. 

I give this hertz location a zero star. And all she could tell me is to call their 1-800 number!!!!!

      Thieves. They overcharged and attached falsely adjusted fees from corporate and refused to remove them. They had my credit card and overcharged my account without notifying me or informing me.

      I rented a car in June and noticed a small crack in the windshield I was heading out of the city and called the Airport location where I got the vehicle and they said that they will notate it on my rental. I also took a picture that same day. I get a damn bill in the mail stating it I was at fault. I am a president circle member so we do not get vehicle inspection forms. I sent the picture in and told them I contacted the location that I got it from and sent in the picture that same day requested. Never will I rent from them again and I wouldn't recommend them thank you for making it easy to rent elsewhere as I am a president circle member and I am advising my company to rent elsewhere.

      So here is my experience I rented a car in Florida and drove to DC where I got stopped for expired plates. I was lucky enough to get a warning. When I called hertz they made me drive the car to the airport for an exchange. At the airport they said the plates weren't expired and the guy wouldn't even go up to return and check the plates. He was nasty and should be fired. this mess took 4 hours of my 2 day trip.
      Upon returning the car the mgr gave me a $100.00 credit for the expired plates mess.
      I called hertz about the mess in DC and they blow me off. Some supervisor in a strange country was trying to patronize me about my $100.00 credit and not caring that I was treated like ****. That was my first and last time using hertz. What a ****** company.

      Rented a car for ten days. Returned a day early. I was charged for three days extra. Very shady company.ended up paying $2300 for what should have been $800. I had to get new credit card because they kept charging bogus charges.
