On June 20, 2013, and July 16, 2013, BBB challenged advertising claims on the website www.musclexedge.com.  

 Specifically, the site features logos that are not linked to their parent website.  

 The website does not disclose any details, nor offer the consumer any opportunity to obtain the details, of the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Section 8 A of the BBB Code of Advertising (found at http://ct.bbb.org/bbb-code-of-advertising/#Elmer) states: "When the term 'warranty' (or 'guarantee') is used in product advertising, the following disclosure should be made clearly and prominently: a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen at the advertiser's store prior to sale, or in the case of mail or telephone order sales, are available free on written request." Additionally, Section 8 B1 states: " 'satisfaction guarantee,' 'money back guarantee,' 'free trial offer,' or similar representations should be used in advertising only if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product at the purchaser's request." Finally, Section 8 B2 states: "When 'satisfaction guarantee' or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee should be clearly and prominently disclosed."  

As of August 9, 2013 the company responded to BBB, but failed to modify or explain their claims.
