The State of Texas v. BCP Techs, LLC

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government's allegations , which have not yet been proven. 

On November 20, 2017, the Texas Attorney General filed a petition seeking a temporary restraining order with an asset freeze against BCP Techs, LLC for engaging in deceptive scare tactics to convince vulnerable consumers to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for completely unnecessary technical support services. A temporary injunction hearing was held on December 4, 2017 at which BCP Techs, LLC failed to appear and as a result was prohibited from engaging in any business activity and was ordered to freeze all assets until entry of a final judgement on this matter. This issue is pending.
