Adobe is a rip off . I tried to cancel my subscription and got a serous run around. I called and was transferred to another guy and that is when the run around started. He kept me on hold for a very long time, came back and gave me numbers to help solve the problem, I put the numbers in and made a mistake. I told the guy about the mistake and he once again put me on hold. To make a long story short, he came and said that he wanted 1000 dollars or he would lock and cause serious damage to my credit. Like an idiot, I went to the bank and withdrew the money and the entire time he was on hold guiding me to do the n next step.. In the meantime I called the bank and told them what was going on and they told me that that this was a scam. In the meantime, I called the guy back and told him that I was not giving him **** cent because this was a scam. He became angry so I hung up on him. I hope that the BBB can help me with this cancellation of this unwanted account.

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat this morning to my computer, to read some pdfs. I was asked if I would allow Adobe to make changes to my computer to install. And I said yes. There was NO option for ******. No Custom Installation option just download and that's it.Yet, suddenly there were bars indication the progress of BOTH Adobe Acrobat and McAfee installation on my computer, whether I wanted it or not! I tried several different ways to Uninstall. Through Settings: I checked Uninstall, and all I got was an option for ****** to make changes on my computer, when I clicked "No" nothing happened and the program was still there. I tried that three times.I tried going through the Control Panel, and all I got was a blank screen and McAfee was STILL on my computer.I researched this online and found information saying that that Adobe and McAfee are now business partners. Also, if I wanted to uninstall McAfee, I had to download ANOTHER program called ******* I tried to do that. Except I had to agree to this caveat saying that ****** would NOT be responsible for any damage done to my laptop files or programs while uninstalling a program I never wanted in the first place! I repeat, I was supposed to absolve ****** for any damages caused if I wanted to get rid of something they foisted upon me. I went to the website and ended up having to have someone (obviously out of the country) get on my computer remotely to get rid of it. Which I was extremely uncomfortable with. ****** had no right to set up something that required such a problem. Adobe had NO RIGHT to allow such a thing, and I am currently looking for alternate programs to read my pdfs.

I am writing to hopefully help others in dealing with Adobe and their monthly subscription fees.Back in December 2024 (around 12/30, 12/31) I signed up for Adobe free trial.I was charged a payment on January 7, 2025.I immediately cancelled my subscription (I have the email from Adobe verifying this); but the following month I was again charged a payment on February 7, 2025.I called Adobe and spent almost 45 minutes on the phone and the lady wasn't able to help me.She said she couldn't find my account; you have to be kidding me, right? As of today, I still haven't received any refund. Why would they continue to charge my credit card even after I cancelled weeks ********** me this is frustrating and seems so wrong. They are hurting people, especially people who can't afford their ******** do we stop companies like this from stealing from people? How sad to live in a society that you can't trust businesses or ********* shows me that the Bible, no matter what people may say, is true; and as sinners in this world, we truly need ****** to be our Savior as the Bible says - Gospel ****, 3:16-17!

Bought a lifetime license of the *************************** photoshop elements, now they made it so the software won't work as they switched to a 3 year subscription model in 2025. they deactivated my use of the product i bought a lifetime subscription for.

I had subscribed to a trial offer and then I was told there would be a $73 charge to cancel. I requested cancelation before the end of the trial period. This is a scam because I did not enroll in the annual subscription as stated by the Adobes foreign representative. I was very explicit that I wanted only a trial subscription and that I would be able to cancel if I did not like the product. After I complained I was told the charge would be reversed but I had to be quite forceful.Adobe should be ashamed of themselves, I thought I was dealing with an honest company.

This is BAD BUSINESS. Will never use this *********** will still be billed for it. Horrible business practices & immoral.

Adobe charged me $37 for an Illustrator license that I did not purchase. I did a free trial and cancelled the same day. A week later I have a charge. I called and they immediately acknowledged I shouldn't have been charged. I have zero emails communicating the free trial, my cancellation, or the charge.

Adobe practices should be illegal if they are not already. They scam you into a free trial with NO MENTION of a $120 cancellation fee if you do not cancel right away. This is not clear. IT'S DISGUSTING. Adobe should be sued for all of the money they are STEALING from customers.

Adobe has threatened to charge me $150 dollars for early cancellation, which can only be seen on the email they sent out at the very bottom.Clearly a trap from a multi billion dollar business to squeeze as much as they can from a working class citizen.I have never encountered this from another business.Corporate number is also impossible to find, and when I asked for it, the agent hung up on me.

They charged me three times for services I never requested. First there were only two pending charges, I called them and was assured they would be cancelled. They weren't, and two days later there was a third charge. Called again and was told they would be refunded, all three, and gave me confirmation numbers. Well only two were, so I had to call a third time to get the third charge refunded. They put you on hold for a ridiculous amount of time and disconnect you, then put you back in a long queue. This definitely feels like they make it extra difficult for you to get the refund you deserve on fraudulent charges so that you just give up and they can keep your money. ******** customer service and a scam!
