Refund and Exchange Policy
Individual scheduled session policy

In the case of equipment failure or any other unforeseen circumstances that prevent Strand Out Media from shooting or attending a scheduled session, the Client will receive the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of their deposit.

If the Client fails to attend the scheduled session, no refund will be given. Sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances given 24 hours notice. The session will be rescheduled for a new date and time. Deposits shall not be refunded to the Client for cancelled sessions.

Event photography or videography policy 

Strand Out Media requires a 30% non-refundable deposit to retain event photography or videography services on a specified date.

If Strand Out Media is unable for any reason to perform on the day of a contracted event, Strand Out Media shall either (1) provide documents necessary to client and arrange to have a competitor or colleague of comparable photographic performance and quality present on the day of the event, or (2) the client shall be refunded their deposit and provided with a list of comparable photographers for replacement.

Product Refund/Exchange Policy

Once a transaction for digital and/or tangible photography products has been completed, refunds will not be given. A transaction is completed after 1. a contract for photography services and/or products is signed by the Client, 2. an order is submitted or approved by the client, or, 3. a design for a product is approved by the client.

Products may not be returned unless: 1. A manufacturer defect is evident and reported within 48 of receipt 2. A product was damaged during shipping. 3. the order was processed incorrectly resulting in the incorrect size, material, etc.

Due to the nature of these products, exchanges are not permitted.
