In February 2, 2022, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) investigated Community Wellness America’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by the consumer inquiries received by the BBB. It is alleged that the business fails to provide COVID-19 test results in the promised time frame.
On February 17, 2022, BBB sent the company a Business Practice Inquiry to address the following: provide current timeline for processing patient's Covid-19 test results; provide the current policies/procedures for contacting consumers whose Covid-19 results might be delayed; provide the name of the Covid Test used and the FDA authorization/approval information; provide a California clinical laboratory license and a CLIA certificate or proof of exemption, and any other licenses or permits held by Community Wellness America.
As of March 28, 2022, the business has not responded to BBB's inquiry.
Consumers with outstanding concerns are still encouraged to file a complaint for BBB records, but may also wish to contact their local Attorney General's Office.
