I used to work at Rusty's Pizza Parlor in Bakersfield, specifically at the ******** location.I worked as a driver and was trained by an employee named ******. He has been with the company for years and knows how to exploit the system. ****** works the morning shift along with his "co-worker," ******, who is also a driver. They do the easy prep work in the morning, handle the lunch rush, and often stay through the dinner rush even against the wishes of management. When they are cut early, they complain and cause a fuss. ****** and ****** stay through the dinner rush to take advantage of the busy hours and then leave, dumping all the hard closing work onto the night crew. This means they take money away from evening drivers who are left to handle the tough closing tasks. Here's where it gets really unfair:Supervisors are supposed to be the only ones who send drivers on orders, but ****** and ****** constantly overstep this rule. They send themselves and others out without consulting the supervisor, cherry-picking the best tipping orders and leaving the smaller tips for the rest of us. In my eyes, this is stealing from their coworkers. There's also a widespread issue with drivers altering tip amounts on receipts. For example, if someone tips $2, some drivers will write a 1 in front of it, changing it to $12. This blatant theft happens at the Olive location, too, and management is aware of specific individuals doing this but allows them to continue working. When confronted, they lie about their actions, and the worst part is that management knows all about it. I've reported this behavior multiple times and have been ignored every single time. These two, among others, do it every day, get away with it, and are still working there. The franchise is owned by a woman named *****, and even after personally talking to her about these issues, nothing has changed.P.S. If you've tipped a driver for a delivery from *****'s Olive, you might want to check your bank statements!

Thank you for your concerns. It may not look like we are taking steps to correct these behaviors, but we are. We have audited receipts with tips and contacted customers to ensure tips they've entered are correct. We will continue to take steps to correct these problems.
