Arizona Attorney General v. Publisher Wealth Corp

On March 10, 2022, Publisher Wealth Corp entered into a Consent Judgment with the Arizona Attorney General's Office. The Consent Judgment settles allegations that the business solicited consumers by telephone, offering to sell a business opportunity claiming that consumers could earn a substantial income by selling merchandise online, misled consumers with false claims about the ease of operating the web-based business, income potential, and effectiveness of internet marketing, and provided inferior and untimely website development, insufficient project management support, and ineffective internet marketing. Under terms of the Consent Judgment, the business agreed to pay $500,000 in restitution and $900,000 in civil penalties.
