          On Oct 31, 2024, Trademark Hub came to the attention of BBB through our BBB scam report. At that time businesses were getting urgent messages from this company stating your business has not registered its trademark name or brand. They are then informed that another company is currently trying to register itself using your company name and to respond quickly, "It is crucial that we act promptly to prevent any further complications. I urge you to contact me urgently at (778) 910-2841 (EXT 18) or reply directly to this email to discuss the necessary steps forward." The email also claims to respond to the company saying they would "discuss the next steps or if you have any questions".  If you do not respond to the first email, you will receive a second "final notice" email. The urgent message is the same and asks you to respond.

          On December 4, 2024,  BBB checked the website, http://trademarkhub.ca/, and their website now stated the 'site can't be reached'. BBB also checked their website to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on October 25, 2024 and the registrant name was not disclosed.


          Their website is now disconnected. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot confirm the legitimacy of Trademark Hub.
          BBB encourages anyone who receives an email saying their trademark or patent is not registered correctly, confirm the information first.  Do not respond to the email. Visit the Canadian Intellectual Property Office website and search for your business's patent or trademark.
